This past week has been a busy one at Place Beausejour with many happening in our Flex Room and Common Areas.
In the Flex Room, Beauty Forward Medi-Spa’s Wanda-Lee provided foot and hand care for Place Beausejour Residents Monday, Tuesday, and again Wednesday afternoon. Wanda-Lee will be back as usual in 6 weeks.
Nadya’s weekly Chair Yoga class held Wednesday mornings saw several residents enjoying Nadya’s yoga routine. Often Nadya brings some incredible baking for everyone to enjoy, I’m seriously considering signing up!!
Alissa with Frequency Hearing utilized the Flex Room on Thursday to provide free hearing tests to residents. Alissa’s next visit will be April 20.
We continue to add services for our PB resident’s convenience. Remedy Massage will be in the Flex Room on Monday and Aimee has expressed interest in resuming massage therapy for residents on a monthly basis.

The PB Crafter’s meet Tuesday’s and this week was no different. The ladies enjoy a coffee and share their different projects. Also happening Tuesday was an afternoon of canasta followed by an evening of crib.
The weekly Wednesday afternoon coffee (and Cathy’s baking) was well attended. A great opportunity to catch up on the latest with friends and neighbors. Did I mention Cathy’s baking?
Residents enjoyed a trip to River Cree Casino on Wednesday as well. No “Big” winners this trip but there’s always next month!
This weeks Thursday shopping trip was to the Airport Outlet/Casino. Shoppers were back in time to enjoy the afternoon St. Patrick’s Day “Irish Happy Hour” which was a “hit” with everyone dressing in green.
And finally Friday! Contractors performed the Annual Fire Panel, Sprinkler, and Fire Extinguisher inspection today. The alarm was activated to ensure all components were in good working order.
