Our community rang in the New Year with warmth, laughter, and a beautiful sense of togetherness at Place Beausejour’s New Year’s Eve Celebration, theme “Memories Are Made From This.”
Fifty‑two residents had planned to attend, and although seven were unable to join us, the room still buzzed with energy, conversation, and anticipation for the year ahead.
A heartfelt thank‑you goes out to Madeleine O., Ilona R., and Linda C. for crafting an evening that felt both festive and meaningful. Their creativity and dedication were evident in every detail.
We were delighted to welcome Vicki Comstock, a familiar face to many from past Readers Theatre productions. Vicki joined Linda C. and a third performer in a lively three‑person skit written by Linda herself. The performance walked us through memorable highlights of 2025, sparking both laughter and reflection.
After the skit, Vicki led everyone in a lighthearted singsong—an impromptu moment that quickly became one of the evening’s most cherished memories. She then guided the room into the traditional closing of the night, bringing voices together for Auld Lang Syne as we welcomed the arrival of a brand‑new year,
The evening reminded us that community is built not just through events, but through the people who show up, participate, and share in the joy of being together. Here’s to a year filled with more memories, more laughter, and more moments worth celebrating. Happy New Year!
