June 16, 2021 will be the 20th anniversary of Place Beausejour’s Grand Opening. Our history page is filled with interesting excerpts taken from some of the many news clippings stored in albums in the Place Beausejour library.
The name Place Beausejour was chosen from among 50 entries as best representing the Beaumont Aging In Place complex. Claude Dupuis’ entry was considered by the Board to best reflect both the Town of Beaumont and the idea of a pleasant place to stay, to spend some time. Mr Dupuis said that he wanted a name that would represent the long, good journey residents living in the complex would have.
