The Wine and Cheese Event was a huge success this year, with a turnout of 68 residents including key figures like Mayor Bill Daneluik, one of our Trustees, Roland Belland and his wife Jasmin, and other Board members. The event was made possible with the help of several local businesses that donated door prizes such as MLA Rick Wilson, Painted Door on Main, Jef’s Café, BMR Greenhouses, Artison Flooring, Beauty Forward (Wanda-Lee Tuson), Five-O Bar and Grill, and Road Runner Automotive. We’re grateful to Sobeys Beaumont and Baseline Wine & Spirits Sherwood Park for their generous discounts. We would like to express our sincerest thanks to Sharon Trelenberg, who once again put together a fantastic event this year. A special thank you also goes out to Cathy Cameron for her invaluable help with the setup and to Marilyn Benay, John Stone, Heather and Tom Huska, and everyone who helped with the clean up.
